My yearly birthday trip to Moon Lake was not to be missed this year! It was to be shared with my family. Mom, Tina, Katelyn, Kelly, Amanda and McKenzie all came up to Moon Lake for the night to enjoy the splendor of the mountains, lake and beach. We all took time to say "hello" to the bridge after settling into the cabin. The lake was full and the area was beautiful. We roasted hot dogs around the campfire for dinner and followed them up with smores. Cards were played in the cabin and hot chocolate was shared. It was a very nice evening. We slept to the sound of rain playing a soft musical sound upon the roof.
Hello Bridge! In the morning, everyone slept as long as they wished and took showers for the day. We took a stroll out to say "good morning" to the bridge, but did not walk for long much after. The clouds kept promising rain as we walked back to the cabin.

"Good Morning," Bridge.
The cabin was packed up for our return to Salt Lake, but we were certainly not ready to leave the area. Once the key was returned, a game of horse shoes was played (Patti won) and a game of basketball (where Tina beat everyone by a ton!). We even took time to go to the lake and make sand castles in the soft sand.
Horse Shoes Anyone?
Sand Castles! We All Made One.
Memories were made and good times had.
It was fun to share my favorite place with those I love!
